In 2003, Gloria Brogan had an idea. After spending nearly 30 years in personal billing and private practice management industry, she realized the industry was lacking one major standard, medical billing transparency that could be automated and managed with confidence. Many medical billing companies were offering empty promises to help manage medical billing and coding claims to medical practices. So, Gloria got to work carefully crafting a system and process that would be able to efficiently manage all medical billing and collection needs while minimizing operating costs. Consequently, a team of dedicated medical industry experts was formed, forever changing the way medical practitioners would see the medical billing world.

After his years in the US Air Force, Michael came home to help run the family business. He was instrumental in taking Recovery Specialist from a successful small business to its present status of the premier practice management company that it is today. Michael is directly responsible for client satisfaction and productivity. He has spent the last 15 years learning all the necessary processes to make medical billing and collections for the independent physician a simple, compliant part of the success of every office in this highly regulated industry.
